As real
as it gets.
Spark Labs builds proof into the memorabilia itself. Patented nanocrystals go into autograph ink, thread and trading cards. Under a Spark Labs reader they flash, name the athlete or team they were made for, and add the scan to the item’s permanent record.
Three proofs in one scan
A hologram sticker can be copied and moved to another item. The crystals are mixed into the ink and fiber of the piece itself, so the proof cannot be peeled off or printed on.
Visible proof
The reader pulses light at the item and the crystals answer with color-shifting sparks you can see. Fans know they are holding the real thing before anyone opens a laptop.
Forensic proof
Every program gets its own mix of crystals. The reader identifies which ones are present, so it can tell which athlete or team an item was made for.
The Forever record
Crystals land at random in every signature and every card, leaving a one-of-one pattern. It is logged in the Forever library with where the item came from and every scan since, so two autographs from the same player can be told apart.
Where the crystals go
The crystals are less than a micron across. They mix into nearly any ink, thread or coating without changing how the piece looks or feels.
Autograph ink
A pen with two crystal inks and one tip. Every stroke of the signature carries both.

Signed records, tour posters, tickets and props from entertainment, not only sports.
Every signature carries its own proof
Most autographs are only as good as the paperwork that travels with them. The pen, a published patent application from Intelligent Material Solutions, puts the proof into the ink. It writes in ordinary black or blue, but each line holds crystals that glow under ultraviolet, crystals that glow under infrared, and reflective flakes that settle in a random pattern no one can repeat.
Security built for currency, now built for fans
The crystals come from Intelligent Material Solutions in Princeton, New Jersey. The same family of materials has protected banknotes and secure documents for more than twenty years.
